Thomas Frederick’s Revolutionary War service is recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Thomas served as a Private in the following units:

Thomas Frederick was captured by the enemy at Fort Washington in 1776, paroled and sent home. While in the Ranger units he patrolled the frontier near Sunbury, Pa. – where he later lived prior to moving to Columbiana County, OH
